Full Service Movers= Less Stress

Whether you are moving yourself or having a full service moving company pack and move you, moving is one of the most stressful occurrences in ones life. I found being organized though, can help reduce this stress. I have moved fifteen times, twice overseas and across 9 different states. Thank goodness only two of those times did we have to do the moving ourselves. It was less expensive, but I had to get rid of a lot of furniture and packing the truck with a little help from friends was back breaking work for my husband. When having moving companies pack your household goods it is always a good idea to take personal valuables along with important papers out to a locked car or previous to the movers getting there placing them in a safety deposit box. Don’t forget to leave out some cleaning supplies to finish cleaning those last few tidbits in your old residence and see if a neighbor will let you use their vacuum. Also, don’t forget to leave all the keys for the new residents and especially the electric garage door opener. It’s not too expensive to mail them back, but it’s one less thing to worry about at your new home.
